Plans and what is included
The service offers Solo, Clinic, and Group plans where available. The plan displayed at checkout determines the current user-seat allowance, features, and uploaded-file storage; clinic records, clinical notes, and appointments are distinct from uploaded document storage allowances. Monthly and annual pricing, taxes, currency, and any discount are confirmed before purchase.
14-day free trial
For eligible accounts, a 14-day trial is available without a payment card, subject to one trial per verified email and additional eligibility checks. Plan limits apply during the trial. Creating a clinic or starting a trial does not itself start a paid subscription or charge the user. A paid subscription begins only through the applicable checkout.
Paid billing and the merchant of record
Paid subscriptions renew according to the billing term shown at checkout until cancelled. Where Paddle is identified as merchant of record, its buyer terms, checkout terms, taxes, receipts, and refund handling apply to the purchase; the software operator remains responsible for the licensed service under its own applicable terms. Paddle Buyer Terms.
Payment failures and grace period
If a renewal fails, the account may enter a recovery state. Ziel’s planned server-side access grace is up to 14 days following a failed renewal; this is separate from any first-time trial and does not waive a payment obligation. Availability of service after grace may be restricted, without implying that clinical data should be immediately destroyed.
Cancellation
Users should be able to cancel eligible recurring purchases through the Paddle buyer portal or the billing workflow presented in their purchase confirmation. Cancellation ordinarily prevents the next renewal and is effective at the end of the current paid period, subject to applicable law and the seller’s terms. Do not confuse cancellation with permanently deleting patient records.
Upgrades, downgrades and seat limits
Plan changes may affect billing dates, prorations, included users, uploaded-file allowances, and other entitlements. The effective date and charge must be displayed in the purchase or change flow. Downgrade behavior must preserve the clinical record while restricting excess active user access as required by the authoritative plan rules.
Refunds, statutory rights and disputes
For transactions sold by Paddle, refund and withdrawal eligibility is evaluated under Paddle’s current Refund Policy, buyer terms, and any non-waivable local rights. Requests can be made through Paddle’s buyer portal or support channel. No promise of automatic refunds or universal “no refunds” is made here; the exact seller and purchase terms are authoritative.
Invoices, tax and receipts
Invoices or receipts for Paddle-sold transactions are issued through the payment provider as applicable. Users should not email full card numbers or passwords. For questions about Ziel access and entitlements contact [email protected]; for payment disputes or refunds use the seller channel in the receipt.
End of paid access and clinical continuity
When paid access expires, the clinic remains responsible for clinical recordkeeping. The Service’s final contract and DPA must specify record export, read-only access if offered, deletion timelines, legally required preservation and backup policies. No unsupported retention or uptime guarantee is made by this draft.
